Default My UKRS Trips

Well I never thought it would happen, but I'm organising UKRS 98 and it's
an inland site. It's on the 7th March and at Vobster. For those who
haven't been, this is a quarry near Frome in Somerset. It's a bit more
interesting than you average quarry because there's a tunnel and some of
the old quarry buildings. I also saw a lorry there for the first time
today. And unlike other places I could mention, I arrived at 10.30 and was
able to park about 20 yards from the water's edge.

Their website is www.vobsterquay.co.uk and anyone who fancies coming
along, let me know and I'll knock up a list. It should be a good warm up
for the big 100th UKRS dive the following month.

I'm going to be trying out my new underwater camera setup, so you might
even get your picture taken. Plus the novelty of seeing me dive in fresh
water has got to be worth attending alone.

I've also got one space on UKRS 107. This is to Falmouth on June 12-13th,
with the option of going down early and also diving the Friday. If you're
one of those people who thinks most UKRS trips are too deep, this might be
for you. It's all single cylinder stuff and rental tanks, plus a rather
large lunch, are included in the price.
