Hi All.
Newbie here.
Recommendations please for a holiday in the Greek Islands.
I intend to do a couple of Try Dives and Snorkelling.
I have been to Corfu twice and loved it, but I should try another island.
Any advice welcome.

And here was me about to tell you to go to Calypso Divers in Agios Gordis on
Corfu as well...

Lesvos is nice. It's not too touristic, diving isn't bad and the island
itself is also worthwhile.

I was diving with Lesvos Scuba Oceanic Centre (big name, small operation).
It's a small diving centre, but they're very professional and friendly.

I was impressed by the owners' teaching skills.

Hello all,

Another newbie here, I'm going to Corfu in June this year and would
really appreciate any recommendations for a diving centre there or any
comments on what the diving is like there?

I'm PADI OW qualified, and am hoping to complete my advanced course
there, but prefer to dive at centres that have been recommended than
just picking one from the internet.

Avoid Kos ( and posibly Greece in general ) as diving is very, very restricted
by government red tape.
We went to Kos last year and diving was restricted to 1km of coastline and then
only with a Greek National boat skipper. This then meant we were restricted to
only 2 mediocre dive sites.
Contact your destinations dive centre for more info.
