| For those who made suggestions about vans to buy, many thanks. We have chosen a Citroen Dispatch. I would like to get some thick rubber matting to line the floor with to stop slippage/damage etc. I've seen many vans with something like this. The one we've chosen doesn't have any though. So, where can I get something suitable. Checked B&Q but they don't have anything bigger than a doormat! I guess it would be about 2000x1600mm and about 5mm thick. Any suggestions? Just did a quick google for rubber flooring, and got a few returns, something like this place looks promising, though their rolls only go up to 1400mm wide, though their stable mats might be able to be cut to fit, though might be a little heavy duty?: http://www.polymax.co.uk/products4.htm Regards, Gavin. |

Personally, I'd do it out of wood, 3/4 ply to be exact. Stops a lot of drumming noise. Then if you want, rubber over that. Keith |

However from experience I know it's almost indestructible, http://www.nisbets.co.uk/product.asp...8&product=F458 HTH DaveA -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |

Put bits of old rubber wetsuit UNDER where you are going so self-tap the plywood. 12mm ply is ample, but seal it. You end up with a sort of wooden swarf otherwise, as it gets scratched. TerryH |

| Soon after starting my current job as IT manager I sent warning emails to all staff after finding entries for www.rubbermaid.com in the internet logs - boy did I feel silly when I actually checked it out (research only of course!)
