| I'm currently diving with a Weezle Extreme undersuit under a membrane suit, but recently i've found I need to wear a couple of layers of jumpers in addition to the suit to keep me warm after 30mins or so in Stoney (6/7c I think yesterday). In fact, yesterday I was wearing three (not too bulky) jumpers, my Weezle Extreme, and a thin t-shirt under all of that, although that did keep me warm! I'm going to get a skin suit to go underneath, but i'm also thinking of something better to go over the top - my jumpers are causing causing issues with dumping air, in that they are restricting flow to the auto-dump and so dumping air is very slow. I was looking around, and saw the Weezle Argon waistcoat, supposed to be made from the same stuff as the Extreme Plus. I was thinking this would be good, but it says its not designed to be used under a drysuit with the normal Weezle undersuits. Is there a particular reason not to use them, since it seems the ideal way to keep my body warm without having big bulky suits in the arms and legs where I don't really need the extra insulation. So, any reason *not* to use a Weezle waistcoat under my drysuit? David |

| Weezle undersuits work best when you have les on underneath ! I would suggest that you strip down a little and try again the water. I have used my extreme plus weezle in 3 centrigrade water temp and felt fine. Justin. I only wear a very thin t-shirt underneath, and only started wearing that on the last dive I did. The jumpers are outside, which i've worn a few times now, and just with the Weezle and 2 thin jumpers I was still a little bit cold. With the extra, thicker jumper I was fine, but it didn't get on with my dump hence searching for a better solution - i'm sure the skin will help, but think for this time of year somethign with a bit of extra thickness on top would help too. Maybe i'm just a wimp... :O\ David |

I have a Weezle which I purchased 2 years ago I get very cold all the time the Weezle has made it slightly better I have tried the bare skin thing it was no better so I have ended up using the Weezle with some thermals underneath which is ok but not ideal. Perhaps we should form a wimps diving club? -- MarkW nospam to scuba to reply |

| I find that putting an extra 2lb of lead on the belt and so have more air in the suit tends to help for me in cold water "David Walker" <wbsdavenews@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:<c1blgn$mum$1@wisteria.csv.warwick.ac.uk>... > > Weezle undersuits work best when you have les on underneath !
