Im looking for a good book for an intermediate diver - something with
a broad scope, i.e. that covers topics from weather and tides to
rescue management etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?

BSAC Avanced Sport Diving, may fit the bill, although out of print, you
should be able to pick up a copy on Ebay, good luck

They have just published a replacement called Dive Leading, not seen a
copy yet so can not comment on content
