| Both Rob and my O2 analysers have just packed in, so with a bill of £130 or so for two new cells, I'm thinking we might be better off clubbing together for a He analyser. I've had a look at the analox site and for £485+vat (list) their analyser looks a fair deal. Who's using what out there now and what can you recommend? Remember, this is Dig's speaking, I don't know one end of a PCB from another, so skip the build it yourself bits please. Digs |

It used to be about a hundred quid up on that a week or so ago. > Who's using what out there now and what can you recommend? I've got the Abyss one. I had trouble with the flow restrictor but nothing a little violence couldn't solve. About 700+ quid though. nigelH |

I was lucky enough to be allowed to evaluate the Analox He Beta unit - I remain unconvinced regarding the robustness or design using cells. When you've decided, let me know which one. Does that do He and O2 then? You might want to look at http://www.oxycheq.com also. The Teledyne one looks rather nice :) - Keith |

As in http://www.analox.net/site/product_i...products_id=45 are we talking about the same box? It was pointed out to me a cheaper than mine but if you wait electronic things are always cheaper or more features or both so you just wait for it to get down to what you're prepared to pay. Saved my neck on the Normoxic course. The shop served up 18/12 as 18/30. I would have been totally out of my tree at 59m when a cell threw a wobbly. nigelH |
