| Hi Guys, I've been a watcher from the sides, but now I need your wisdom. It seems that I may be turning to the yellow side after many a year of "pfft" and "tst tst" ing. And what I would really like to hear is some informed opinions regarding the pros and cons of the old Inspiration to a new 2004 model, or even the nice, light, svelte like, Evolution. So what might you need to know? I am not a trimix diver at the mo' but I know where this goes once you get a yellow brain. I am predominantly looking for extended time in the 40-50m range, plus the usual benefits. However we dive in the 30-40m range a lot too. My crew don't dive ccr but I do have acquaintances that do and a pal who is considering the change over with me. I mix my own at present, done a few hundred mixed gas dives, only dive UK etc. Ta |

So which would be better, from experience, a fully loaded VR3/Inspiration or the new 2004 Inspiration with the loaded integrated computer I wonder? Taking into account backup, service, cost etc. Depending on your answer, it seems that it may be better to get an older second user Insp. and setup a VR3 with all the toys? Please bear in mind I am in the discovery stage here and have more questions than answers! Many thanks for all the replies hear BTW. |
