I had to google for it but may have been missing something blindingly obvious. David |

I myself was diving on a Combro plate. Rick was on a Portland plate I think. This must fit the topic of diving. Great piece of kit please post again with Advert in subject line. I prefer my combro plate because I have one :-P not sure there is any difference ? in the 3mm versions worth talking about. 5mm well it weighs more. David |

| The 5mm one weighs in at just over 4KG I am just in the process of rigging it with some seriously stiff webbing from the same guy. and apologies to Rich. Must have been the beer made us think there would be no problem filing a backplate in a hotel room at one in the morning :) Gareth "david" <im@fedup.com> wrote in message news:c8g733$cif$1@titan.btinternet.com... > > "rads" <radsxxunspamxx@davidradley.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message > news:q9gma0tmvg83qdhnv0sgflapj27ckd04lv@4ax.com... > > On Wed, 19 May 2004 11:52:04 +0100, Manic Grin <manic_grin@yahoo.com> > > wrote: > > > > >3mm, 5mm and ally backplates for sale along with all sorts of other > > >kit. > > > > > >www.kitfondle.co.uk > > > > Before anyone gets the ar*e, take a look at > > http://www.ukrecscuba.org.uk/about/charter.htm > > > > Specifically "Advertising:" > > > 3mm, 5mm and ally backplates for sale along with all sorts of other > kit. > > www.kitfondle.co.uk > > Ive pasted the first post above. ok so they did NOT put 'Advert' or similar > and as one of the ukrs divers diving the Scylla on the 9th and 10th was > diving on their new wos plate. > I myself was diving on a Combro plate. And if you mention you saw the ad on UKRS I'll throw in a stainless boltsnap with each plate to make up for the niggle. Now how about that, then.... Woz. |

Insufficient compensation for the gross amount of turbulence you are causing in the normally calm waters of UKRS. How about a free plate with every boltsnap? David Oh and Oh and also, stiil vaguely on subject, found these guys who seem very reasonable for a set of twinning bands. Never actually had a good look at their products, but prices attractive. http://www.ritherdon.co.uk/products_...oducts&catID=8 Not totally convinced by design of valve protectors though. |
