| Does anyone have known good GPS co-ordinates for the Alex Van Opstal. I have now failed to find it twice, the club is starting to refer to it as my Moby Dick, and I am getting fed up of being called Ahab. I have googled for positions, but ended up with 7 different sets of co-ordinates on unknown datums, and of unknown data formay degrees minutes seconds or degrees decimal minutes. What I would really like is a set of decimal gps coordinates on a wgs 84 datum I can input directly into my Lowrance GPS. Failing that, anyone dived the Alex recently who can tell me how intact she is? I have read she still stands 5m or so off the sea bed, which should be plenty obvious on the echo-sounder. Many thanks Ahab |
