| If anyone is thinking of making some warm-up dives at the National Dive Centre (the new one at Chepstow, not the old one at Leicester is a good time; the water is still cold (7C at the bottom, 12C surface) but the visibility is excellent at 20m. We watched some of the Free Diving Competition on the Saturday (where the car park was nearly half full!) - I think 50m was the maximum depth on that day. Needless to say we didn't see so many of them at 76m. The Sunday was much quieter. Cheers Matt. |
