| After reporting my unplanned deviation from a course dive that left me not completing a TDI OC Normoxic course with my BSAC club I had a better time this weekend and finished my Normoxic Rebreather mod 2. Since I was at Chepstow again I will admit to a bit of trepidation on Saturday as we left the shot line at 46m but a quick check round (ppO2, DIL, O2, bailout heck I've got a lot of gas and it's all working fine) settled things. I now have the weight just about right on the unit and the new dry suit works nicely. Today we did a 50m dive with drills, both days were about an hour total run time. I must check those 3L cylinders and see how much gas I used for the weekend. That's me done with training for a bit. I usually reckon there is no dive I can't say "I don't feel up to it today" and miss but on a course that messes everybody else up. Thank you for all the encouraging responses to my first post. nigelH |

| I must say that it was lovely to meet the legendary Nigel Hewitt this weekend. As I said to you at the time .. it was really wierd finally meeting you after spending years reading your pearls of wisdom (patient and unbiased wisdom at that!) on this forum. Congrats on your pass. Paul (smug at having just passed his OC Normoxic) Aldridge free-internet email address is invalid to avoid spam.
