The 90 I have is not hard wired, it depends on the cable, I don't have any cable as I was using the remote mode with a digital camera. It's still for sale as it may be good for filling in shadows, but the cash would be good for going diving! The VR3 I just bought needs to be paid for somehow! The strobe cost me £500 and has been in the water about 5 times, make me an offer.
