| I have never met such a group of head in the sand individuals. No I'm not a journalist, I'm not a troll but I am genuinely concerned. Thank you ladies and gentlemen you have proved once again that you live your lives in an unreal world. |

A lot of us do quite technical diving which features heavily in the fatalities lists so we care about this subject and we read about it and think about it. We modify the way we dive to try and stay off that list. And we have our "head in the sand" ? Get real. nigelH |

No you are not, because you refuse to consider the FACTS. You don't want to know the truth, you don't like it when people tell you that you are so wrong. > Thank you ladies and gentlemen you have proved once again > that you live your lives in an unreal world. Well, if that's your view and you think that we're a bunch of loosers then why bother? Just do us all a favour and fuck off somewhere else. I, and others on this group, have lost friends to diving incidents. They genuinely concern us, we read them and we try to learn from them. We do not need tossers like you trying to twist reality into your own warped little view and smearing the memory of our friends. K [Sorry folks - touchy subject for me] |

Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. In my day we had real trolls. MarkW nospam to scuba to reply |

From someone living in the unreal world, if you want to know about the causes of most diving incidents, take a look at the HSE research paper on the subject here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/research/crr_p...7/crr97140.pdf It appears to be a quality and robust statistical look at the causes of 1000 diving incidents. It makes for interesting reading, and gives a good indication of where dive planning can be tightened up. -- Gareth Ansell UNIX Team Infrastructure Coventry University |
