Default Zeagle Wing Inflator

Does anyone have, or have access to, a servicing manual for a Zeagle
wing inflator? Mine has been bubbling, and I need to replace one of the
o-rings on the piston assembly (one of two which go around the central
pin, connected to the button, the smallest in the inflate unit). I have
a random assortment of o-rings, but none that small. I'm after the size
if anyone knows it, and a stockist that might do short orders (I can't
really envisage using more than 10 of them in the lifetime of the wing).

Alternativly, does anyone know of a supplier who will sell a big mixed
box of nitrile / viton o rings? I guess I'm after ~HP valve swivel ->
~pillar valve sized.

Cheers,

Ben

I really wasn't thinking when I wrote that.

First part of the question still stands...

Save yourself a lot of faffing and change it to a scubapro one.
Incuding myself I know of 5 other Zeagle owners who ditched
the original in favour of the more ergonomicly designed and efficient
scubapro one.

Much better.

Cheers Terry - do the Scubapro ones do a pull dump integrated into the
inflator? It's a function that I quite like on the Zeagle.

I hate Scubapro inflators. I really don't like the two buttons on one side
design. I've not found the Dive Rite inflator particularly reliably
either. If it wasn't for the fact the connectors are different, and you
have to change the hose, I'd go for AP Valves inflators. Never had a
problem with them on my Buddy jacket.

is the pull dump not at the top end of the larger tube. By changing the
inflator at the other end all you need to do is connect the stainless wire
which operates the dump valve.
my Zeagle wing has SF1500 stamped on the inflator. I could change it with
anyother that matched the tube which goes up to the wing.
I wont be changing it as I quite like it.it must be better to find the right
size orings (cant help the Ben)

The bog standard scubapro inflator which is fitted to just about every
scubapro BC is a direct replacement for the Zeagle one.

Cut the cable tie. Pull back the corrogated hose.
Use a rod or screwdriver to push out the small bar holding the cable.
Once it's part way out use pliers.

Add your new inflator and feed bar through inflator - loop on end of
cable - inflator.
Pull back hose, locate and add new cable tie.

Welcome to your new fully operational and better working hose
dump!

TerryH

PS: My Zeagle/Scubapro has done 800 dives and god knows
how many pool sessions and works just fine.
