Hello,

How can I remove all dives in the memory of the suunto stinger?

I cant find the right procedure in the Dive Manager software.

In addition who know how much memory size capacity the suunto stinger has ?

How much dive time can it record if sampled at 10sec or 20 sec ?

You can't.

It isn't there...

....but I think that Suunto can do it if you send it to them. The best you
can do is to ignore the ones you don't want in dive manager.

ISTR it is around 100 dives at 20 secs sample rate but the actual figures
should be on www.suunto.com.

Just had the batteries changed on mine and it came back with the logs
intact......inc the pressure test.

I don't think removing the battery wipes the memory. I think Suunto
like to know where the watch has been for warrantee isues

If you take the front cover off (pretty tricky without the tool, you
are welcome to borrow mine if you are near South Wales) there is a
tiny button marked 'reset'. I've never pressed it but it might do
what you want.

Failing that go diving lots.

I have mine set to 20 seconds and I think it has about 50 dives on it.

If you have the downloader which i imagine you do then one of us can
send you the "Suunto Vyper Editor". It worked on both my Solution and
the Vyper. Of course with all non manufacturers sofwtaer this comes
with the mnormal caveat of user beware. As I do not have the stinger
I do not know if it will adversely affect the stinger's software. It
will clear out the memory. If you are skittish wioth that then find a
pressure pot or a local water hole and drop the stinger on a line tat
10 or 15 feet for a day or two. That should effectively fill up the
memory with one long dive thereby removing the others. Of course it
doe not remove the Max dpeth from memory...

1) Download all dives.
2) Select each dive (one at a time) that you want to remove and "click" the
"Ignore" button.

Those dive will be removed from your dive log (and future downloads). As the
memory in your computer fills with new dives it will delete the oldest dives
in memory. When you download new dives the "Dive Manager" software will
delete any "ignored" dive from the "Ignored Dive List" that are no longer in
the computer memory.

There is a small (DOS) program floating around that will wipe the profile
and history memory of Suunto computers.

Its likely "stolen", but if you look hard enough, you might find a copy of
it.... :)
