Default Quick BSAC question

Could anyone please enlighten me on how the BSAC Instructor Qualifications
work.

I have recently jined a BSAC club as a crossover PADI Divemaster -> BSAC
Dive Leader. Now in PADI I would do an AI course and then the OWSI
course, however, I have just been to the BSAC site and it seems that there
are a number of different courses that one needs to do.

I was also looking at the Skill Development Courses, and there doesn't
seem to be much organised in the west midlands at the moment. Does the
BSAC require you to stay regional, or are you allowed to sign up for a
course organised in a different region?

Any enlightenment much appreciated.

I'm not sure which part of "PI requires a one day course (OWIC) followed
by an exam (PIE)" doesn't make that clear?
