The cost of decoplanner would have bought you an A5 laminator and you could then have used DDPLAN for free However, any flat bit of plastic will do. Cover it with masking tape and use a spirit-based felt-tip pen (OHP Marker pen) to copy the plan to it, then just peel the masking tape off afterwards. I have a bit of flat board which I connect the laminated tables to via key-rings. It lives in my pocket until deco - but before the dive, I'll have selected teh right table for the depth and put a rubber band over it and memorised he depth of the first stop (approx), then get to the first stop and take the slate/tables out and clip it to my reel, or just remember the next few stops and put it back in the pocket again. | I find the curved wrist ones with 3 pages pretty good as you can incorporate a number of back ups. |

I used to use these but they really restrict my arm movement, especially if you have a computer / dtimer on each wrist. Maybe I just have stubby arms Laz ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A foolproof method for sculpting an Elephant: First, get a huge block of marble. I have one and it goes just up my arm from the computer and seems to be out of the way. I'm definitly not big. Perhaps my foldover slate is smaller than yours. nigelH |
