What ever it is, go to B&Q or Halfords by a set of metric Allen keys for about three quid (make sure it goes up to at least 8mm). Use them then keep in your spares kit for next time Pete diving 'at' melbourne 'dot' me 'dot' uk |

(Seriously - assuming we're talking about the insert that screws into tanks to convert the valves from DIN to Int - the size of allen key varies depending on the particular make.) Iain |

Allen keys generally are sold in sets (metric or imperial) so stop being so tight and BUY A METRIC SET! |

I got an 8mm stainless allen key made from a length of hex metal - just bend it and you've got an allen key, and didn't cost that much (no idea how much, we had the metal already). It's the only one i've got though, since I end up removing DIN inserts from club tanks quite regularly and that particular allen key regularly gets left out in the rain, snow, whatever... All the others are only really used when i'm doing 'repair' type things, which I tend to do in the dry and with something around to dry them off if they do get wet, so the normal set does fine for that. Had it for ~3 years and no rust yet without caring. Clive |

| Beware, I have a DIN insert which needs a 3/16 hex key. They're not all metric!
