HMS Dartmouth: Fifth Rate Royal Naval Frigate lost in 1690 in the sound
of Mull. Well, three of her cannons and a few bits of timber at least...

Incidently, if there is anyone who has problems getting that far south,
there are similar courses run in Scotland, also (I think!) under the
auspices of the National Archaeology Society -- see

Well,

Of the _identified_ wrecks, probably the "Kultakaleeri". This is a
chebeck-style russian "skampavoija" sunk in 1721. After that, probably the
Constant Trader (1785), Kronprins Gustaf Adolf (1788) and the Stor Träskö I
(1789).

I have also dived a lot of unidentified stuff out there that is certainily
MUCH older...

"La Surveillainte" Glengariff, Bantry Bay, Eire. A two masted vessel from
the time of the Spanish Armada. Intact, upright and still in the position at
which it sank, but don't tell anyone how I know.

Cliff.
