Default Re: FS Vintage Siebe Gorman Torch

I have one of those, paid about 50 quid for it in an antique shop in York 4
years ago. Long way to go for that twinset :>)

Nope - that's misleading. There's a big difference between an auction and a
fixed price sale which is what FS denotes...

Nonsense - it's For Sale by auction - the same as every other 'FS' ad I've
seen on this newsgroup - all have been links to Ebay and I haven't seen you
quibble about FS or FA before - PMT?

Anyway - I've followed your 'advice' for my other item....

Nope - just decided that UMD was well past its sell-by date and that I'd
rather be breathing compressed gas than sat infront of a TV...

Hope all is well with you, Michelle and the sprogs (and, of course, the
chickens!)

It's largely the same as it's always been. Nige remains good for
entertainment, I've accidentally become friends with Patrick while he was
posting under a pen name, and in addition to that there's an occasional
piece of wheat that compensates for the rest of the chaff.

All fine at this end, the family is in fine fettle and increasingly fit
following my purchase of a cross-trainer. I'm 2 stone lighter, but still 3
stone too heavy, and as the sole affiliate of the once mighty
www.fannybatter.com I've earnt a stonking £198 in the last six months.
Whether that's enough to buy a vintage Siebe Gorman torch I've no idea, but
it'll pay the car insurance.

As for breathing compressed air, I can't say I blame you. I don't know
whether Gildenburgh gets mentioned much on here, but it's just down the road
from me. I'll have to enquire about a diving for dummies course if they do
one, so I can join the fold.

Anyway, I'm pleased my tin-pot detective work has determined your continued
survival. Hoping all is similarly rosy in Wilstshire...

Cheers

Andy
