Apparently its a sharp pain rather than dull, always to the back top of the head (once on the boat). During the dive he tells me its more apparent behind the eyes - but I guess these are more susceptible to pressure. I don't know if he is personally anxious, never seems it to me. We dive a similar profile and both do the stops. We swap data on our profiles from the dives to compare so I wouldn't say either of us ascend quickly. My guess it's the initial anxiety of the first dive in a while and once settled down he's fine and more in control of his breathing. Getting it on every first dive seems to point away from the sinus thing, though I could be wrong as I'm not a doctor. |
