I don't think they'd tackle one of ours. One evening when we were in party mode the subject came up and one went in the yard and we drove the van over it. It marked the yard and maybe slightly deburred the plate. There was talk of trying some of the more exotic stuff down at the ballistics range but I suspect they would have pulled our contract if we were caught playing games. nigelH |

The plastic components kept breaking on the harness and the wing. The bladders, erm, "escaped". Pete S. |

| > [FX: Sob!] Indeed, the end of an era Well done Nigel, it gave me the impetus to make my own quality Aluiminium backplate, after buying a crap DiveRong product, and single tank adapter. *** unashamed plug follows*** I do have some of my hard-anodised aluminium backplates and single tank adapters available at sensible prices. Both items are completely finished and ready to have a harness and bands fitted. PDF's available. TonyH. tony@samesamediving.com |
