A very good quarry IMO

I hope you all have drysuits and thermals and weezle extremes plus. What's
that gas called ??? Argon I think. Check weather, it may be frosty.

No, in my experience, it won't be busy unless a club has booked. Viz will
probably be very good, but check with Jason. (Bardo)

David,
I was there last Thursday with a couple of mates. Very quiet in
the morning, a few more turned up about lunch time but only at most a dozen
or so. We were able to park down by the water side. Viz seems to be getting
better although I'd still be carefull with someone on their first dive as
there is a lot of silt around to kick up.

Compared to Stoney Vobster has more to do in the 10-20m range in a fairly
safe environment, with bits of planes and cars for some added interest.

Water temperature is still fine, 10-12c as long as you don't go deep.

Last Thursday the problem was cold between dives, even in dry suits. Take
woolly gloves/hats etc.
I was there again on Saturday and didn't even need a jacket, according to my
car it was nearly 10 C warmer!

Hope this helps,
Ron MacRae.
