Q for PADI Instructors re: Master Scuba Diver

I am AOW and intend to do R.D early next year with a local PADI club.

However, I am on a liveaboard next week and, whilst I initially intended
to have a "holiday", I cant seem to help wanting to do some certificated
learning, so I will be doing Deep Diver and Wreck to add to Enriched
Air. I might even do a couple of others aswell, e.g. Boat Diver & Night
Diver, to make up the 5.

Hopefully I will get it all in before anything changes.

I think you can. The requirement is AND not AFTER.

A question: does anybody know an instance where my MSD card would
be any use? Currently I only use the qualification when I think that people
are being overly officious in wanting my qualifications so I write MSD on
the form and haul the rebreather with trimix stickers onto the boat.
