I would go to both and talk to the instructors and get a feel for the place. I would always recommend a club, but that is my personal preference. You seem to be in the fortunate potion of being able to choose the style of teaching and have the back up of a club to fall back on. My advise is go to both talk to people in the clubs and decide later. Why choose just the one? Join both and get the best of both worlds. Money will be the biggest constraint and you will find that your Christmas money won't go far where ever you spend it. taz. |

Ive been reading about both >> and im not sure the best way to go. question of age. PADI will teach divers of 12 and BSAC 14 I think ???? BSAC is normally more club based so you can turn up every x day each week and learn a little PADI tends to be full on training for a few days then nothing. PADI is normally the quickest way to get a diving certificate and they do charge for this. I think BSAC costs are the same only spread out of a much longer time. I still favor PADI but also belong to a BSAC club.others have said go to both places see which suits you ask if they do try dives even pay for them. this will be a good insight in to how they run things. It might be worth diong a try dive with both places to see which suits you. Regards David ps diving is expensive dont be told otherwise ! |
