| I have been to sharm 10 /11 times now the last five with explorers and four with Ocean College (2003/4). I would recommend both. Explorers have been very good with excellent hotels and no probs with transfers etc. Ocean College I have found to be excellent, very safe enjoyable diving. For example they will not let you go to the more challenging sites until they have evaluated you (could be annoying if you are a very experienced diver, but they don't know that do they). The guides are very knowledgable and take note of what the group actually want to see. We would choose them again. For those who only speak english they tend to have mainly an english contingent so you are not alone on the boat, meet new friends etc. We have dived with in sharm, in order of preference Ocean College Red sea dive college (although they now offer a diamond service which looks very tempting) Emporer divers (larger eurpopean contingent) Camel (variable depending upon the divemaster you get) KR "Pete Melbourne" <psmvsl@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:5c26u05ovl2h7pdjkrrvd48n7hhro9kfmg@4ax.com... > On Mon, 10 Jan 2005 08:49:58 GMT, "philip pullen" > <philip.pullen1@ntlworld.com> wrote: > >> >>> Not quite the response you were after but I have used Explorers when >>> going >>booking. >> >>Thanks Pete, I was not looking for a one sided response, I am about to >>book >>a Holiday to dive with Ocean Collage, but I have been told that the tour >>Operator is not all that good, so just asking the question on a wider >>scale. >> > > I would not go with Ocean College, had bad experiences with them. > There are better operators in Sharm.
