| Imagine the scene. Two divers take their wives out for a nice afternoon at sea in an inflatable. The two divers sacrifice the chance to discuss clothing prices and who said what to who, only to give the women a chance to be on their own. They decided to get out of the way by having a quick dive. Aren't us men good to our wives. They proceeded to get kitted up and enter the sea. After about ten or twenty minutes of underwater boredom one of the divers comes across a piece of electrical conduit, that just happened to be laying on the seabed. He picked it up and for no reason at all carried it with him. Towards the end of the dive the pair came across an Angler fish. Now I have a low opinion of Angler fish. I do not like either the taste or look of them, this though was not the opinion of Ken who thought that the fish would make a nice meal. He promptly stuck the conduit down the throat of the fish in an attempt to catch it. Now came his dilemma, what to do with a very fed-up angry Angler fish on the end of a two metre length of conduit. Coming up with the same conclusion that all divers would make Ken decided that the best place for the fish was to put it in the boat. He promptly surfaced and stuffed the fish into the small inflatable. He wiped the fish off the conduit like you wide wipe a knife on the side of your plate. This action was one that he was to regret for a very long time because the two wives still in the boat had the same opinion as me about Angler fish. Their response was to promptly jump out of the boat into the sea. On surfacing ken was surprised to see the boat empty except for a very annoyed Angler fish that was thrashing about in the bottom. I hope the fish tasted good because he paid a very high price for it. taz. |
