Everyone will have a different opinion on BCD`s and fins !!
However, in my limited experience, and those who I`ve talked to
!!...............Quatro`s at bout £70 would be my choice of fins, or X3`s
for bout £50 mark
Now I`m going to get abuse from everyone who thinks otherwise !!

Craig

Perhaps it's my geographic separation from your part of the world, but I've
never heard of the Tigullio brand. Be cautious in buying an off brand BCD.
They're not always the quality you expect and not always easy to get
warranty or other work on. If this isn't an off brand, sorry for the
bother.

There are several groups relative to fins:
1. There are those that swear that 40 year old technology Jet Fins or one of
the clones that have become popular these days, are the best fins for all
divers, in all conditions. Personally, I hate Jet Fins and have since they
first came out. YMMV.
2. There are those that must own the latest and greatest technology,
insisting that fins that bend in the middle, or are split are better and
more powerful than anything that's come before. I don't agree with them
either. Once again, YMMV.
3. There are those who like last years technology, well make that technology
of the last few years. The Mares Quatros as well as the full foot Mares TRE
and Quatro Power fins I favor (warm water diving), in my opinion, fall into
this group. I don't think I know anybody that favors a normal fin that does
not like the Mares products.
