| keith, Credit for the metalwork must go to my dive buddy 'Matt' he's in engineering and made these up at a friends workshop. Small lathes are ok but you would need a larger compound slide to achieve he angle on the head than say a Myford can achieve. You could do it in 2 cuts but you risk a step in the angle. As for the welding he tapped up another mate for this, and he did a very good job. As we found when we were developing it there are a lot of friends & frends of friends who were willing to help. brian "Keith Lawrence" <false@nospam.com> wrote in message news:42938cfe$0$38046$5a6aecb4@news.aaisp.net.uk.. . > > "Press F1 for help" <brian.downer@nospam.ntlworld.com> wrote... > >> Here is one three of us put together. >> www.commonswood.co.uk/downer/torch > >> Complete head.jpg is a view inside the head >> Complete torch.jpg is the whole thing >> torch 2a.jpg is all the parts for 1 HID head, 1 Battery pack & 1 Halogen >> head >> Battery charge.doc is the battery charging cycle > > Another beautifully engineered torch!
