| Well, the time has finally dawned when I have to replace my trusty, but aged, Psion Series 5 with a new PDA. One of the applications I run on the Psion is S5Dive which is a dive log, complete with connection to my dive computer for downloading the log. The choice of a new machine seems to be between Palm and Pocket PC powered units. Has anyone any views on suitable dive software for these machines and the ease of connecting Citizen Hyperaqualand or Suunto Mosquito to them? Thanks in anticipation. David B |

| I have an IPAQ1940 the pocket PC platform seems to be more compatible with a lot of the useful dive log type application software. I've never actually heard of anyone connecting an Aqualand or Dive PC to a PDA. I picked up Palm based software a number of years ago that works just fine with downloads from my Citizen HyperAqualand. I used to download to my PDA and upload from the PDA to my computer at the end of a trip. It did, however, take a special cable. Lee |
