The Arabia Beach Hotel has a housereef. Otherwise, Hurghada is a shithole. Confirm prior to booking that there will be no russians in the hotel and on the boat. Matthias |

They like to empty the menu tables just before you, so nothing is left, then let most of it go uneaten to the bin. It is part of their education, they do all for the wellfoare of their own guests, and, as their guest, you are supposed to eat as much like it was your last meal in weeks. Now they are guests in Hurghada hotels... Under water they have a reputation for breaking of corals, taking shells and enjoying their nice colours inside, in short, do not comply with what we'd call respect of nature, and sustainable way of diving. As I recall, Hurgada town is not worth the bother as there are few shops. All the sort of shops you would expect on a holiday are along the coast road south of the Town - where all the hotels are. |
