I did actually see a ling on the same dive, and a couple of yarrels blennies too, which for me was a first. The eyes of my mystery fish were much more round to the front of the head and were just black, not with the outer bit as per most fish eyes, and the fins were fleshy, not rayed. It looked sort of sharky. I just tried to sketch it, but it came out like a haloween pumpkin so I decided to spare you. Cheers Graham |
