The lumb bro ones as supplied by Denny Diving seem OK to me once
fitted, I'll find out how well they stand up to the diving later. One
of the 2 I ordered was broken on arrival but replaced with no
quibbling and considering the christmas post pretty quickly.

You can mount without boot ... but the shield will move ...

I would advise not to mount the shield without the boot
