Some artificial reefs benefit the environment, some don't. Use of my speargun has a very short term affect. Leaving stuff in the ocean has a very long term affect. 3. My use of a speargun is, by a substantial margin, the least destructive way for me to obtain food from the ocean. It's less destructive than any form of commercial fishing and less destructive than any form of hook and line fishing. Lee |
