Inflation Hoses

the hose for my apex drysuit valve also fits my bc too.which can come in
very handy if i have to shut down one of my independent twins

Yep - and, to be honest, it makes sense to use the same connector on your
drysuit and BC feed as a) you only have to carry one spare hose and b) it
gives you an added level of kit redundancy should you encounter a problem
with one of the inflator hoses! This becomes particularly relevant should
you ever switch to twins as you can run an inflation hose off separate first
stages and be able to connection your drysuit feed to your wing (or vice
versa) if you should have to shut down one side...

BTW - drysuit inflators come in two different flavours: the proprietory
Apeks CEJN connector (big fat connector) and the SiTech/Hansen 'pignose'
connector which you're referring to. I'd personally recommend anyone with a
CEJN drysuit connector to switch it to a SiTech connector as it's a safer
and more robust connector anyway (the CEJN can cause problems if sediment
gets into the connector).
