Or be ready to haggle. I got back yesterday from a week in the Renaissance Golden View on Ras Um Sid (right next to the lighthouse). Taxis readily available from Ras Um Sid for 30 LE without haggling. Taxis back - drivers are a bit cheekier but 40 is the most you should pay. Just make sure you have the right fare in your pocket. No way should you ever have to pay 100 LE ! This time stayed in Mexicana - not as good as Renaissance, but as we were diving all day each day and SWMBO was not with me it didn't matter. |
