I have a RecWing mounted on a normal metal backplate while a friend of mine uses it with both a TransPac or a plate. You can't add backplate to the TransPac harness, but seeing as webbing costs about 1¤/m, this should hardly be an issue? 300bar tanks are a tad heavy; I've tried the TransPac/RecWing with 2x7@200 tanks (7.5kg each), and it was quite ok although the backplate setup is a bit more steady. On the DiveRite site though it says you can use it with doubles just fine (doesn't tell you the sizes though -- http://www.diverite.com/Products/pro...8&CategoryID=3) You could get an extra backplate/harness for this setup, and use the wing/backplate with the twins and transpac/wing with single tanks. /Marcin  |
