Ben's right. I'm post mortgage, post kids. I've never had so much money.
I think dive shops like people like me and, looking around the workshop

I'm rapidly getting towards that stage - another year or so should see me
there. It feels great already.

And something else. Just came back from Sharm. This was the first time my
wife came along, and so rather than stay in one of the diver-dorms, we
stayed at one of the Hiltons. She liked it, and can see herself doing the
same again! So once the kids (among who is my premier dive buddy) have left
the nest and are pursuing careers etc., in the event my buddy can't travel,
I can still get wet and travel accompanied as long as I leave SWMBO
somewhere nice while I'm waving at the fish!

Woo hoo!
