| Many thanks to all who responded to my question. I will be getting two new CDX5 1st stages with DIN fitting and using my existing 2nd stages (at least for now). its not just the initial cost of buying the bits - its all more stuff to have serviced etc. I remember there being some problem with some stupid new EU thread fitting for dive tanks, was this on DIN fittings? or was that the cylinder thread? anyone know? Thanks again Gary |

I think that you're thinking of the new regulations regarding cylinders with gases other than air. This is what you want to look at http://www.standardsdirect.org/stand...iew_11316.html AIUI the thread will change on the cylinder valve. Expect to see adaptors on sale so you can continue to fill older cylinders. -- Ian |
