| I wonder if anyone here can help with a question i have concerning Decompression Sickness. If a mild case of DCS is untreated or undiagnosed what are the concequences and what can be done about it in a later stage? I am asking as earlier this year I went diving and 12 hours later went up a mountain. For the most part i was fine, however a day later when i was flying back i had aches in my joints. These lasted a couple of days but eventually died down. Then last month i flew away on a weekend trip and during the flight the aches and pains in my joints returned. It started me thinking about what would happen if DCS was untreated, and if it was DCS how long would the effects linger? I asked my doctor but she didn't know enough about DCS to help. Thanks, Sam |
