Learning to dive PADI or BSAC

Hi There

Im based in Glasgow, Scotland, and would love to learn to dive and
plan to use some of my xmas money to do so. I had very limited
experience when on holiday a couple of years ago and got a PADI scuba
diver certificate. My question is do i continue with the PADI route or
do i go down the BSAC route. Luckily i have a PADI club and a BSAC
club near me. I dont wont to just dive on holiday and would like to
try diving around scotland so it would be good to be in a club where i
can tag along to some dives with others. Ive been reading about both
and im not sure the best way to go.
