Default Advice on Suunto Mosquito

I am a newly qualified OW diver looking to get my first computer.
Looking at computers on the market I have been eyeing up the Suunto
Mosquito. It has all the functions of the Vyper but in a package that
i can wear on a more day to day basis in between dives. My only
concern is that of being able to read the display. Has anyone used
this computer and can they let me know of how it performs and how they
have found the display to read whilst diving?

I don't know about the Mozzie per se, I know the Vyper well and I'm very
pleased with mine. If you want it as a watch between dives that's fine, but
be advised Casio have a far wider range of nice looking watches that come
far less expensive than any dive computer for daily wear! Also, though a
small package is nice, so are the buttons. Great if you do warm diving with
no gloves, but trying to press fiddly buttons with great big chunky gloves
on is an exercise in futility.

CHeers for the advice Ken. Would you rate the Vyper as a good first
time computer that will last me through a 'normal' recreational diving
lifetime?
