Default Thumbs Up for Vandagraph : Excellent Service

I have an old Vandagraph VN202 Nitrox analyser, one of the first 2000 made,
I've had it about five years, it's given me damn good service. The other
week it broke, the battery was dead, a brand new battery lasted just one
analysis and then went flat. Obviously the unit was shorting out somewhere.

So I phoned Vandagraph, a very helpful bod told me "ah - we had some
problems with a shorting IC on some of the earlier units, send it in, we'll
have a look at it". So it was duly bundled up and sent to Vandagraph on
Monday 15th August. Today is Friday 19th August, I've just got it back,
fixed, tested and working perfectly.

The cost of this repair to a five year old unit? Zero, nothing, not even
postage and they've even given me a brand new battery!

So I would like to thank Vandagraph publicly for their excellent customer
service, as it was a known fault they were prepared to stand by their
products and sort out any problems. There was a few quids worth of repair
and postage there, I will be making a suitable donation to a RNLI box when I
next pass one, that is the least I can do to show my appreciation.

So a big thumbs up to Vandagraph from me, I have been very happy with the
unit over the years and with service backup like that I would have no
hesitation buying from them again.
