 Inflation Hoses "Pignose" connection on my Apeks inflation valve. This seems to be also the same type of connection as your common or garden generic BCD hose. I have connected such a BCD hose to my dry suit and it seems to connect and inflate just fine. However I have not tried it in water yet. I presume it's safe to do so. Has anyone else tried this? Any nasty surprises? It seems pointless to pay £10 extra for a specific Apeks Drysuit inflation hose when in fact I can buy the same hose marketed differently (as generic BCD inflation hose) for the less expensive price, or am I missing something? I know I can count on you guys for the answers. ;o). E ..  |
