| I have a Northern Diver drysuit with what they call "Hansen type" or "Pignose" connection on my Apeks inflation valve. This seems to be also the same type of connection as your common or garden generic BCD hose. I have connected such a BCD hose to my dry suit and it seems to connect and inflate just fine. However I have not tried it in water yet. I presume it's safe to do so. Has anyone else tried this? Any nasty surprises? It seems pointless to pay £10 extra for a specific Apeks Drysuit inflation hose when in fact I can buy the same hose marketed differently (as generic BCD inflation hose) for the less expensive price, or am I missing something? I know I can count on you guys for the answers. ;o). E .. |
