Clearly, the paddlefish of Gilboa shunned them, likely with good reason.

Dove their once with my wife and brother in law. The dive was to certify
my brother in law and it was a nice place. Teh day we were there it was
great vis, better than the quarry I normally dive in. The facilities
were adequate and I like the sights.

Default Gilboa Quarry in Ohio - Question?

Anyone have any reviews/opinions on Gilboa Quarry in Ohio? How is the
staff, what are the conditions like, how detailed of a plan is needed to
dive deep, etc? I would like to go there, but have heard some negatives
about it from a group that is loyal to Whitestar Quarry, and would like
other opinions. Thanks.

I've been there several times and enjoyed it immensely.

I'd be a little wary of -anyone- that would diss one quarry over another.

Why not go to both places?

It's not like an Antarctic expedition.

An American friend of mine - living in Canada - says that in the US, greed
is acceptable but envy is a sin. In Canada it is just the opposite. I would
suggest that envy is our national sport. And no one inspires more envy in us
than our southern neighbor. It is a shame, because any legitimate gripes we
may have about America get lost in a sea of childish wolf-crying.
