KINGSLAND, Able Seaman, ALLAN H. SS Arizona (Dutch). Merchant Navy.
29th September 1940. Age 16. He was killed when the Dutch coaster
Arizona (393 GRT) struck a mine in the Firth of Forth, near Elie Point
on 29 September 1940 at 07.30 hrs. Of the 8 men crew three were saved,
five were killed. Among them A.H. Kingsland (AB). The vessel had left
Methil Roads that same morning.
