Default New York Rec.Scuba people....

Well, last week I had to head to New York to see some more Doctors and while
I was up there I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Ross, his SWMBO and the
duckling! They took absolute wonderful care of me in their home. (-:

I also had the chance to meet TonyP and we talked about the great NY/LI
diving he does and all the rec.scuba antics.

Popeye and I will be heading back up to the area again in a few weeks when I
will be having surgery - we would love to meet to get the chance to set a
time to meet set a time to meet some people for dinner before my surgery. I
am sure that I am not going to be up for it after surgery.

If anybody who lives in or around the New York/Long Island area would like
to get together for lunch/dinner a beer or whatever in a few weeks is
interested in meeting with us let me know. You can hit reply to me here or
email me at tekdivegirl at bellsouth dot net

'twas a pleasure to have you. Although I fear we were a bad influence:

Look - at least it isn't a YBOD

Count me in. With real luck I might even have some *diving* to talk
about by then!

It was fun meeting you and talking about how great diving is up here (at
least I think so). The dinner company was exceptional and I look forward
to it again. This time, with the big guy too!
See you soon!

If it was going to be this week, I was going to be heading into the City
on business.

For a 'few weeks' from now depends very much on when it is for my
schedule: might be on the road, or might have another house (or both!).
But that doesn't mean that I'm not interested. Count me in too.

Replying to my own post ---

My surgeons had a cancellation and I am headed to New York tomorrow for
pre-op on Weds. and surgery on Thursday.

I get to have a different kind of decompression - so no real chance to have
a rec.scuba gathering in a few weeks. I will be at North Shore Univerity
Hospital http://www.northshorelij.com/body.cfm?id=51 after Thursday
morning. If you are in the area and want to visit me in the hospital If
all things go right I will be there for 5 days. The name I will be
registered under is Kimberly Thurman

Wish me luck.

Kimber

You don't need luck, honey, you got Pops.

Godspeed.

Don't worry, it does nothing but make you old early.

Adrianne sends her love to you and Pops both.

We're all rooting for you to come out with the best possible outcome.

I'm currently planning on going in on Thursday...I'll see if North
Shore's close enough by.
