I agree that most in the USA are blithering idiots, but there are many who didn't VOTE for Bush . . .and don't forget, he was not elected the first time- at least not by the majority of the population, merely a few votes from each state (electorial college). In his second running, there are still questions regarding electronic voting machines, provisional votes and down right fraud - stories of absentee ballots include: the Bush/Cheney number was punched when the absentee ballot arrived at the requestor's residence. After several requests, no absentee ballot arrived. Absentee ballots had the wrong names on the ballots . . . The shame of all this is that no one will bother to investigate any of the discrepences. |

The discrepancies occurred on both sides of the aisle. For instance, my grandmother requested an absentee ballot. It was addresses to her at her house. It arrived at the local college. It just so happens that she works there and so she was able to receive it. She filled it out and sent it in. A week later, she called the election office and they hadn't received it. You don't suppose there may have been a postal employee that didn't want people receiving their absentee ballots, or being able to send them in if they did receive them, do you? |
