I'm not sure what this has to do with diving, but it's sort of a ridiculous commentary. Of course Iranians that go to Iran are subject to being held there against their will, regardless of the "-American" affixed to their names. Is there any difference with returning North Koreans or Cubans? That's the risk they take for playing the game they play. Big deal. You'd think the guy would have something more interesting to write about such as the fact that our Attorney General is about to be charged with perjury. |

So? If it's not related to diving, why post it? I could post off topic posts about the crap I took this morning, but I have enough sense to know no one here wants to hear it because it's not dive- related (even though my toilet has water in it). > Of course you would think that, and I knew you would. > > You couldnt care less as long as it isnt you. I couldn't care less here since it's not dive-related. When my partner went to visit Iran a couple years ago I thought he was crazy and told him so. If he had been jailed, I would have cared, but I still would have told him I told him so. Any time someone renounces their citizenship of another country then returns to that country as a renouncer, they're asking for trouble. If an ex-American who went to France and renounced his American citizenship came back here to stir up trouble, I doubt you'd see any problem jailing him. > Who wants to write about the latest democratic witch hunt? You mean that besides a lying sycophant, Gonzales is also a witch? Maybe they should burn him instead of just trying him for perjury. Which one of his lies do you support? Why do you think Arlen Spector is a Democratic witch-hunter? |

You hope he is, as do all nutbar democrats, it's almost election time and you will need a huge scandal to win (like you did last time). Ask Rather. When are you all going to investigate and prosecute Feinstein? Here is another fine example of a democrat with a title; http://tinyurl.com/2fyuou arent you kind of pissed that he has besmirched the fine name of the Bar? And some further reading for those of you with a sense of humor and no blinders on; http://tinyurl.com/2wucyp http://tinyurl.com/394u3l |

Which huge scandal was that? There've been so many, I can't keep them all straight. |

You are kidding right? If they commit and are convicted (by a prosecutor who is honest) then damned right, jail. I think a huge majority of the "people" living in the US have denounced their citizenship by offering aid and comfort to our enemies. They just dont have the balls to come out and say it, and no one else wants them. > > Who wants to write about the latest democratic witch hunt? > > You mean that besides a lying sycophant, Gonzales is also a witch? Do you think Fitzgerald was honest when he "convicted" Libby? > I think a huge majority of the "people" living in the US have denounced > their citizenship by offering aid and comfort to our enemies. I have six enemies living in my basement. I bring them microwave popcorn and turn up the air conditioning. > Dunno, ask Hillary. That's Madam President to you. Right at this moment, there are two on my Yahoo feed of AP headlines: Gonzales ("FBI Director Robert S. Mueller said Thursday the government's terrorist surveillance program was the topic of a 2004 hospital room dispute between top Bush administration officials, contradicting Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' sworn Senate testimony) and Tillman ("Army Secretary Peter Geren is expected to recommend that a retired three-star general be demoted for his role in providing misleading information about the death of Army Ranger Pat Tillman, military officials say, in what would be a stinging and rare rebuke). And that's just in the last few minutes. If we go back seven years . . . |
