Florida: advice required

Hi all,

I'll be visiting Florida in September and I want to do some scuba
while I'm there. I'm only PADI open water certified so I'm not looking
for anything *too* adventurous :)

I'll have fins,mask and suit with me. I just want to hire the rest of
the equipment on-site, join up with a group of people (ideally
including an instructor) and enjoy a nice dive. I'll be staying near
Naples, but I'll be heading down the Keys as well. Can anyone
recommend a dive center that would suit me?

Also, my wetsuit is a 2mm shortie - will it be OK for Florida in
September?

There isn't a whole lot to recommend in the Naples area except, perhaps, to
drive across the state to the east coast. Personally, I like Splashdown and
Deeper in Boynton Beach.

For advice on the Keys, you're going to have to give us an idea of where in
the Keys you're thinking about being. The chain or islands is over 100
miles long.

From Naples...go to Key Largo & dive with www.scuba-do.com -or-
www.keylargodiving.com

There are many more good ones there as well.

The 2 mil suit will overheat yoiu
